Barcelona

I recently spent time in Barcelona for a yoga teacher training. I had never been there before, but more importantly I had never traveled with quite the intention I had gone there with. Having recently experienced that a heart can be fully broken but you are never broken and that love is unlimited, I went with a completely open heart and mind; open to magic, possibility, and looking for evidence of God in everything. If you have never travelled this way, I highly recommend it.

I speak very little Spanish and when I met people who only spoke Spanish I did not let that deter me from making a heart connection. It is a freeing experience. I tried to see God in every person I met. This is not to say that everything went my way or that nothing went wrong. I just stayed open to the possibilty of magic and the knowing that things happen for a reason and I have angels looking out for me. So even though things might have looked bleak at moments, in the end it all worked for the best. I travelled completely alone not knowing anyone. This is a huge challenge for an extreme introvert, but I came home with some new best friends. So go ahead. Take a risk. Open your heart and mind. You may get hurt, but I promise, you can never be truly broken. If you truly know who you are, you will never doubt that you are loved.
