Hurricane

So I live in Hawaii and we are at the beginning of Hurricane Lane. Right now it’s just raining very heavy. While everyone else is stocking up on supplies, I’m at home writing songs while listening to the rain come down. To each their own. Excuse the mistakes. I am still learning guitar. Also, I had no idea how to end this song so it just sort of ended.

Hurricane

And the lyrics:

It’s not that I can’t do this all on my own but together was like a jewel. Glistening in the sun, brilliant and fun. Now it’s all just blown.

Chorus: Hurricane. Brings the Rain

I wish there had been some warning. I should have had a clue. I didn’t know it was storming or that you would be untrue.

Chorus

The rain in Spain falls on the plain. Lured me into your trap. You made me feel safe and swore your love, but that was all just crap.

Chorus

Sun is so hot. Sky is so blue. That’s why sailors drown. Never expecting to be pitched from the boat. A sudden wave brings you down.

Dark clouds are forming the sky turns grey. The wind blows all memories away. The sky opens up with tears of pain. Flash floods wash you away.

You’re like a storm with no rainbow. Washed away all that was there. Like there never was even a garden. You made it seem that you cared.

Chorus

Your mind played a trick on you. Made you believe in lies. I thought you were stronger and knew your truth. Time would reveal your disguise.

Chorus
