I have been studying consciousness and started to wonder where do memories come from. Why do some people remember things and why do others forget? Why does one person in a relationship remember something as good while the other remembers it as bad.
My theory is that our brain is a filter. If we were truly aware of our full potential to be amazing radiant beings we would not even need to communicate with one another and then that would be boring because we are in a human body so we create drama to make life more interesting and learn soul lessons. It’s just a theory. I have no proof other than observing people’s different responses to the same situation.
In meditation you focus on the breath. But if you think about it, each breath is a miracle. If I were to focus on just this breath and not take the next, my body would shut down from a lack of oxygen. The way each cell has to work together to take that oxygen in and circulate it to all the necessary parts without my brain having to get involved is nothing short of a miracle. So for those that don’t believe in God (or whatever you want to call it) I would like to know how you explain all that happens in one breath if there is no divine creator that made such a complex system work from breath to breath. You can only explain so much with science. When you break it down to an atom and even the subatomic particles that make up the atom, then what is it that makes the electrons spin? I believe it is a superconscious power. That higher power must be a loving force because it keeps life going. Even in death, life continues in another form.
So it is that life continues despite your own personal dramas and pain.
